Riga

30 August, 2018

In February 2019, the 3rd Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) Baltic Sea Science Day will be taking place in Riga, hosted by the University of Latvia on the occasion of its centenary. The preparations for this annual public gathering dedicated to research, science and innovation cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region in general, and the CBSS Science, Research and Innovation Agenda in particular, are well underway.

On 30 August 2018, the Academic Centre of the University of Latvia will be hosting consultations aimed at clarifying the venue capacity and thematic highlights of the upcoming event. Baltic TRAM, as one of the two CBSS endorsed cornerstones during the Kraków Ministerial, will have a prominent place in the event programme. The CBSS Baltic Sea Science Day 2019 will be a splendid opportunity to take a look back at six intense project implementation periods.
