This summer Baltic TRAM took part in the “EU in My Region” photo competition, showcasing a snapshot of a field visit of SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, which took place during the Work Package Leaders meeting held on 31 May – 1 June 2018 in Kraków.
Baltic TRAM Placed in the European Science Diplomacy Spotlight

On 14 – 15 May 2018 Baltic TRAM got attention at the second EL-CSID workshop “Diplomacy and Development: Trends and Challenges for Europe and Its Partners” in Brussels organised by Nazarbayev University, in collaboration with the University of Warwick and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Results of the 2nd call for research services in the Baltic TRAM project

During the 2nd call, running from November 1st 2017 to April 30th 2018, totally 24 applications for short-term research services were sent in. The applications were submitted by Finnish, Swedish, German and Polish companies (17), which accounts for 70% of all those submitted. The remaining 7 applications came from Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark. During the 2nd call the measurements that would lead to a product development rather than a standardized research were primarily promoted.
