The purpose of Science Link is to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea Region, to strengthen the region’s competitiveness in a global context. It supports industrial research with synchrotron radiation and neutrons at research facilities in northern Europe. The aim is to create awareness of the possibilities offered at research facilities in the region and to show how R&D at these sites can contribute to innovation within European industry.

Science Link was part-financed by the European Union (the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme), and involved 17 partners from 8 countries during the project period 2012 to 2014.
