Baltic TRAM is organizing a conference on a better cooperation between industry and analytical facilities on 25-26 October 2017 in Stockholm. The event will be arranged under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. The conference will include:

Day 1 - Political Support
Among the prominent speakers are: Stefan Michalowski, former head of the Global Science Forum administrative office, who will present a worldwide study about the structures of better cooperation with industry, prepared by Technopolis; Akira Yamakawa, managing executive director at Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI), who will provide the viewpoints on the industrial use of promotional programs at SPring-8, and last but not least Jean Moulin, head of the Working Group on Innovation of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), who will share the results and recommendations of the working group.

Day 2 - Practical Examples of Collaboration
Day 2 will focus on the existing opportunities for industry, including the offers by companies conducting research and measurements for industrial customers and by European projects to access universities and large-scale research infrastructures at reduced costs. Among the speakers are CEOs of the leading service providing companies in Europe and the EU-funded project leaders.
