One of the most important pillars of the Baltic TRAM project is an R&D offer for industry spanning the entire region, made available by a network of Industry Research Centres which via calls for proposals are striving to strengthen the role of research in driving product excellence.

During the 1st call, which ran from May 1st to October 31st, a total of 24 applications for short-term research services were prepared and submitted. The largest number of the applications was sent in by Finnish companies (11), which accounts for 46% of all those submitted. The remaining 13 applications came from Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Sweden.

The 1st call for free of charge measurements was open to all industrial sectors and this is very well illustrated by the diversity of sectors represented amongst the applicants, as shown in the chart below.

The 2nd call for the free of charge measurements has been launched the 1st of November. The EU companies can apply for research services at premier research institutions in Baltic Sea Region.Consult with your local IREC to get started and submit your application online via www.baltic-tram.eu. Applications can be sent in before April 30th, 2018.
