On 26th November in Brussels Baltic TRAM together with the cooperation partners Baltic Science Network and Science Business, welcomed about 200 participants to the international conference “The Baltic Sea Region – A Science Powerhouse”.

The conference gathered the representatives of the EU Commission, higher education institutions, research institutes and analytical research facilities, NGOs and development agencies. We are proud of gathering such a diversified audience sharing the interest in developing transnational research collaboration, enhancing growth and economic development by upgrading the innovation agenda and strengthening connections between science and industry.

The distinguished speakers shared their expertise and experience in the addressed by the conference themes. The inputs provided during the discussions will serve as an important reference in our continued work for taking the regional collaboration in research and innovation to a new level.
