On 24 – 26 January 2018, the European Commission´s Joint Research Centre organised the Macro-Regional Innovation Week in Ispra, Italy. The event focused on Science and Technology (S&T) Knowledge for Policy Support and Collaboration within the EU Macro-Regions linked and the Western Balkans and with a special emphasis on the Smart Specialisation and S&T Support to Policies (agriculture, environment, energy and transport, and biotechnologies). The event explored the ways on how the Joint Research Centre, the European Commission's science and knowledge service, may best support the EU S&T policies throughout the whole policy cycle.
Baltic TRAM was featured in Emily Wise´s presentation “Alignment of financial instruments to address common challenges in the Baltic Sea Region”. The report, which will outline the findings showcased in the indicated presentation in greater detail, will be presented to the Baltic TRAM website readers during the upcoming weeks.
