On 15th June 2017, the project partner Kaunas Science and Technology Park represented Baltic TRAM at the international conference “Nanotechnology and Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region (NIBS)” in Kaunas, Lithuania. Dr. Artūras Mickus gave a presentation on “Baltic TRAM project-the new tool to strengthen the relationship between analytical research and institutions and business in the BSR” to introduce the project itself and promote the ongoing open call for companies to access free analytical research in the Baltic Sea region.

The NIBS conference is organized by the Mads Clausen Institute at University of Southern Denmark and the North German Initiative Nanotechnology Schleswig-Holstein e.V. network, and led by Kiel University and Kaunas University of Technology and Lithuanian Materials Research Society. NIBS brings together researchers and business stakeholders from the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) as well as parties involved in the cooperation with the BSR partners to share latest achievements in research, innovative solutions and applications in the field of nanotechnology.
